About IBM Verify SaaS:

IBM Verify SaaS protects users and applications both inside and outside the enterprise, while enabling technical agility and operational efficiency as a cloud-native solution. Beyond single-sign on and multifactor authentication, Verify is a modernised, modular IDaaS that provides deep AI-powered context for risk-based authentication and adaptive access decisions, guided experiences for developer time-to-value and comprehensive cloud IAM capabilities. From privacy and consent management to holistic risk detection and identity analytics, Verify centralises workforce and consumer IAM for any hybrid cloud deployment.

IAM-Boards is available on AWS Market place as a 1 Click Deployment product. Here is the link to product on AWS marketplace - IAM-Boards. It is expected to have following configuration details ready before launching an iam-boards instance.

Prerequisites:

  • Infrastructure configuration

    • VPC to use

    • Subnet (part of above VPC) to use

    • Environment indicator

    • Unique identifier for iam-boards instance

  • IBM Verify SaaS configuration

    • Tenant domain name

    • Client id and secret generated on above tenant with required permissions

  • IAM-Boards configurations

    • CIDR to restrict access to endpoints

    • Username and password for secure access to endpoints

    • Enable internet access to endpoints

    • Mode configurations

      • Enable metrics forwarding to amazon Prometheus (Mode 1)

      • Amazon prometheus workspace url (if above option is enabled)


Mode specific prerequisites:

  • Mode 1: Metrics to Amazon Managed Prometheus You need an Amazon Prometheus workspace running for iam-boards to forward metrics. You can use existing workspace or create new workspace as per your requirements. Please check the following documentation link for more information on Amazon Prometheus.   • Mode 2: Metrics as an endpoints There is no prerequisite apart from common requirements provided in the above Prerequisite section.
